This Privacy Policy explains how Xiaoyu Zhang ("After 7", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the After 7 mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using After 7 you agree to this Policy. After 7 is intended only for adults aged 18 and older.
We do not collect data from anyone we know to be under 18.
We use your information to: create and operate your account; power matching, Discover, and the After 7 nightly experience; deliver messages and notifications; keep the community safe (moderation, fraud and abuse prevention); attribute referrals; prevent referral fraud; grant and administer membership rewards; provide support, including for referrals; and comply with law. We process this data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interest in operating a safe service, and — where required — with your consent (e.g., location and notifications).
Protecting your location is a priority. When you share location, we immediately coarsen it to an approximate area (about one kilometer) both on your device and again on our servers. Other users only ever see an approximate distance range (for example, "Within 5 mi") — never your exact position or address. You can turn off location access at any time in your device settings.
We do NOT sell your personal information, and we do NOT share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You can view and edit your profile, and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account (deletion removes your profile, photos, matches, and messages from user-facing surfaces). Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of certain processing.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We retain referral associations, qualification records, and reward history under this same account and legal retention framework. We protect data with encryption in transit, row-level access controls, least-privilege storage access, and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and regulators of incidents as required by law.
After 7 is strictly for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to use the Service or collect their data. If we learn a user is under 18, we will remove the account. If you believe a minor is using After 7, report it in-app or email zxiaoyu.work@gmail.com immediately.
After 7 is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice in the app. Your continued use after an update means you accept it.
